Elle appartient à l'ordre des Mantoptères, ordre d'insectes très répandu sous les tropiques, mais également bien représenté en zone méditerranéenne. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Elle est parfois classée dans l'ordre des Dictyoptères, avec les Blattes et les Termites.
